Saturday shoot

These girls came in for a visit on Saturday so we could get some photos of them together. It took a little time, but once these 2 got warmed up shooting them was a breeze. It was a pleasure, and hope to see them again in the future.

Second Shoot

This is the second time I have had the pleasure to shoot this little guy. I can't have a better subject, he was happy, sat for the camera and is extremely photogenic. It was a pleasure to have him in my studio again, and I enjoy seeing the differences from the last shoot.

Materinty and newborn

About 1 1/2 months ago I did a family / maternity shoot for a client, and just recently, I had the privilege of shooting their newborn photos. Other than a few, lets just say fluid issues, everything went off without a hitch. They are a beautiful family, and I couldn't ask for better subjects.

Birthday Shoots

I have had the pleasure of shooting a couple of Birthday sessions recently. I really enjoy doing this, because the kids are so excited, and makes for a fun shoot. The first one I shot, was her 3rd birthday, and this is the third time I have had the pleasure to shoot her. She had a blast playing with, and hiding behind her balloons.

The second shoot I did was for his first birthday. Again we had balloons, but a completely different shoot. He is just starting to learn to stand, and wanted to explore everything. I really enjoy this stage, because I love hearing the baby talk, and the interaction you can get from them.

I hope both kids had as much fun doing this as I did, it really was a pleasure. Happy Birthday!

First pictures of the new year

We decided that Jan. 1st would be a good time to go out as a family, to get some photos and some geocaching. We made our way up to Jones Falls, on the otherside of Seeley's Bay for our first stop. On the way to finding the cache there was a large dam and saw a waterfall / rapids. The weather beautiful and pretty cold, but the kids seemed to have a lot of fun, and it was nice to get out.

Next we decided to take a drive, and head to another cache at Brass Point Bridge, and on our way I saw an ice wall at the side of the road. We made our way to Burnt Hills road, and stopped at the area where the cache was. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the cache, and this isn't the first time we looked for this one. A little frustrated we decided to make our way, and try our luck with a cache at the locks on Washburn Rd.

While I wandered taking pictures, my wife and kids went searching for the elusive cache that we couldn't find earlier in the year. This is a very beautiful area, and no matter how many time we visit this area, we never get tired of it. Not wanting to be left out of the fun, my son brought along his trusty camera, and decided to take some photos along with me.

All in all it was a great day.
